The Great Horned Owls©

Who doesn't love the baby Owlets?

The unique and strange story of these owlets...

Their nursery has no trees or cactus, just plastic, fencing, wire and product!
Really?

A safe place and well protected from the weather for mom to sit and wait for the hatching of these perfect little owlets.

Off the shelving, working their way up the tall fence, in this busy, real-life garden nursery where mom chooses to make her nest.

Mom is waiting on the other side of the tall fence for the owlets to join her in this beautiful Palo Verde tree with dad sitting in the tree across from her.

The babies have made it over every year.

Mom and Dad will still feed these beautiful little owlets until they have learned to fly and hunt on their own...

Mom is always waiting!
